09.12.21 | 10:00 – 13:00 CET “Multipurpose Usage of Public Transport Infrastructure” online workshop

On December, 9th, Interreg EfficienCE organises an online workshop together with sister project e-SMART dedicated to deepen the aspects related to the energy optimization of the urban transport, smartification strategies and EV charging solutions.

E-LOBSTER will present the innovations, based on shared assets (battery energy storage systems and power electronic devices) and on a Rail+Grid management system able to create synergies among the power distribution networks and railways distribution networks by involving in the concept also electric vehicles.

Our project partner from University of Birmingham, Dr Pietro Tricoli, will attend the workshop together with representatives from research institutes and municipalities to evaluate the effects of multipurpose utilisation of transport infrastructures for a more sustainable urban mobility.
